Before diving into the rules, players will want to first make sure they are in the right spot. The game was massively popular back in early 2022, and Wordle's versatile rules and quick play made it incredibly easy to copy. In order to get started, players will first need to choose a starting Wordle word. This word should be five letters long and a real word. It cannot be a proper noun. Players should avoid previous Wordle answers and plural nouns ending in S or ES. Type this chosen word into the site; press enter. The letters of the chosen word will change colors depending on whether they are correct or not.
- If a letter turns green, it is right and in the right place in the word.
- If a letter turns yellow, it is correct but in the wrong place in the word.
- Gray letters are incorrect.
