Jackbox Games titles are getting a new launcher that will help to make it much easier to navigate through the numerous releases the series has released over the years. This should help to resolve a problem that many fans of the Jackbox Games series have with the current and ever-expanding list of games.

Jackbox Party Packs are major hits with gamers, providing a silly and irreverant games to play with friends. They're also some of the most versatile titles out there for playing with big groups and long-distance buddies, as gamers can join in using their phones, so every player doesn't have to own a copy of the game. However, there's a problem: the more Jackbox Party Packs there are, the more difficult it becomes to navigate through every title's individual minigames.

Fans have complained for a long time about this particular problem, especially when it comes to streaming. Every Jackbox game has its own selection of unique minigames, which is great for the variety, but problematic when players want to play one of the minigames that's not in the particular Jackbox Pack they've started up. Having to close out the game, navigate to a new one, and start it up takes time, and some fans forget which minigames are in which pack. However, Jackbox Games has now announced that it's introducing The Jackbox Megapicker to resolve this problem.

Players on Steam will be able to acquire The Jackbox Megapicker for free. Once it's downloaded, it can connect to all the Jackbox Party Packs the player owns, allowing them to use one launcher to easily browse through all the games they have access to and launch them from there. With 50 individual games available and Jackbox Party Pack 10 being the latest release, many fans have been calling for this quality of life improvement for a long time. The Jackbox Megapicker is currently set to release in July.

What About Jackbox Players on Consoles?

While this news has been well-received by many fans, there is one downside. Only PC gamers will be gaining access to The Jackbox Megapicker. Consoles are being left out of the improvement, which understandably has some players upset. However, it would likely be difficult to implement this improvement on every system that the Jackbox games are available on. The Jackbox Games team will be holding an AMA about the new system closer to its launch, so players will be able to inquire if there are any plans for future console versions of the Megapicker.

In the meantime, fans are looking forward to another upcoming release. The Jackbox franchise is getting its first M-rated game intended specifically for adults, called the Jackbox Naughty Pack. It's set to release during the summer, and will presumably be incorporated into the Megapicker for Steam users.
