Toei Animation's Sound Team Has Been Criticized

Saturn travels to Egghead - One Piece

This isn't the first time that the sound effects of the anime have been criticized. For years, viewers have been critical of the anime's sound effects, and they have asked Toei Animation to update them. But the studio hasn't made any notable effort to resolve this problem.

The studio has significantly improved the quality of animation since the Wano Country arc. The visuals have also been upgraded, but Toei Animation has made no headway towards enhancing the sound effects.

With Sota Shigetsugu berating the sound team, there is a possibility that the studio will finally take some action and work to eliminate the problem. If the sound effects are improved, then the viewing experience will also be better. Currently, there has been no announcement from Toei Animation regarding the issue, but that might change in the coming weeks, especially with Kuma's flashback starting soon.

One Piece Anime Is Among The Very Best

The Studio Has Produced Several Incredible Episodes

  • Luffy vs. Kizaru was a spectacle
  • Even Oda enjoyed the fight

Despite its flaws, the One Piece anime is easily one of the best ongoing series. The high quality of animation has won over the masses, and all of them are in awe of it. Fans will be hoping that Toei Animation continues the excellent work and improves in whatever way possible.

One Piece Episode 1127 is the latest example of the studio's incredible work. The fight between Luffy and Kizaru felt straight out of an animated film. It proves that Toei Animation is serious about making One Piece, one of the best, if not the best, anime series in the world. Recently, Eiichiro Oda commented on the anime and said that he was elated after seeing Luffy vs. Kizaru. If the studio is impressing one of the greatest manga artists of all time, then it must be doing something right.

Aside from the anime, the manga has been on fire as well. Eiichiro Oda has been delivering top-notch content weekly, which is hardly surprising given his incredible track record. Last year was difficult for him as he had to deal with multiple health issues, but he seems to be doing better this year, and hopefully, this continues.

One Piece is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
