Takatou (an obvious reference to Thanatos) was raised inside a secret facility back on Earth, he had no name, no parents, and most importantly, no one near him to call a family. His Grandfather, obviously not a resident of our world, was a former Sage who left Yuuya more than just his mansion and private possessions.
