There are various activities that Zois may do while living simulated lives in inZOI, and some are easy to find when exploring the available cities in the game. Others need more work to unlock, including the chance to surf, which demands certain prerequisites before it becomes an option for those who crave action in this virtual world.
InZOI: How to Ride the Rollercoaster
The amusement park in InZOI is a great place to hang out and have fun on rides, but it can also provide a career for Zois who love to have fun.
Many characters may decide to surf in inZOI for different reasons, though residents of Bliss Bay who selected Life of Excitement as a Desired Life request it more. This activity is simple to enjoy, and players do not need to purchase a board to try it in the game — only to visit the correct spot on the map.
Where To Surf In InZOI
Each city in inZOI has unique features that let Zois engage in different activities, depending on the location, that add variety to every setting. To surf in this Life Sim from Krafton, characters must reside in Bliss Bay, since the other choices for living in the game do not provide a similar option for Zois.
Those who want to surf by choice or who develop that urge in a character can head to the beach in Bliss Bay and look for the boards near the water. They are scattered in various spots along the sand, so there are many points on the shoreline where they appear — and no payment is needed to use them.
How To Surf In InZOI
Players who interact with the boards may find that 'surf' does not appear as an option in inZOI. This restriction applies to Zois that have at least three points in Fitness, so improving that skill is necessary before using a board in the water, which means building strength through different exercises inside the game or other convenient methods, like reading a book.
It is possible to train with the board itself, because if the surf option is disabled, players can use it to practice Padding or Good Posture, both of which add Fitness points for Zois. This is not the only approach, because interacting with other workout gear in the game also trains characters in a similar way across different skill levels, like:
- Squat Rack
- Barbell
- Pulldown Machine
Bliss Bay Beach itself features an open-door gym that can be used to train Fitness for free.
For characters who cannot surf after acquiring the required three points in Fitness in inZOI, there is another detail to check. Not every board on the beach allows this activity — only those placed nearer to the water — so if the option does not appear when interacting with one, it may be time to look elsewhere.
Surfing is also an excellent way to improve the Fitness skill in inZOI. While the Zoi has fun and can fulfill the urge, "Wants to Ride the Waves," if players are surfing due to this desire, the characters' skills are also improved. Additionally, if the activity is performed to meet this need, players also receive some Meow Coins, which are used as currency in the Life Sim.
If the Zoi gets stuck in the ocean while surfing, a bug that may occasionally occur, players can use the "Emergency Rescue" option, which can be found in the Psycat Guide menu. This feature should always be used whenever characters get trapped in a spot and can't get out.
