Summary
- A new Infinity Nikki leak teases a new mushroom-themed Wishfield map and a Gigantify ability outfit.
- It's unclear when this area will be added to the game.
- Infinity Nikki will also be adding a housing feature in an upcoming patch.
A recent leak in the Infinity Nikki community has revealed a new Wishfield map featuring a mushroom kingdom and a new Gigantify ability outfit. The gameplay in Infinity Nikki combines the dress-up elements of its predecessors with a vibrant, open world – a formula that has led the Nikki franchise to its biggest launch yet. The title takes place in the world of Miraland, and while Infold has already teased seven unique regions, Infinity Nikki starts players off in Wishfield.
Nikki traverses Miraland with Momo, her cat companion, and exploring the open world often requires the use of various abilities. True to its roots, ability outfits in Infinity Nikki provide the solution. From Gliding and Floating to Fishing and Grooming, Nikki has plenty of options in how she can interact with her environment. Even though the latest update added a Fireworks ability, it would seem that Infold has more ambitious plans for the next Infinity Nikki map.
Infinity Nikki: How To Evolve Outfits
Clothing evolution in Infinity Nikki allows players to unlock outfits of different colors to suit their preferences better.
In a new post shared by vincentasm on the Infinity Nikki Leaks subreddit, players can now take a look at a currently incomplete map unearthed from one of the pre-release versions of the game. While not much can be gleaned from the actual image other than confirming that it is indeed a new zone, a lot of information is buried in the text of Infinity Nikki's localization. Namely, it implies that the upcoming content update in Infinity Nikki will feature mushroom people, giants, and a new outfit that grants the Gigantify ability.
Infinity Nikki's Next Zone Could Be Mushroom-Themed
Tying this information together is simple. In the Worldview teaser for Infinity Nikki, players are introduced to the seven major nations of Miraland. The Heartcraft Kingdom is the first region that the player explores, given that Wishfield in Infinity Nikki sits on the kingdom's border with the Empire of Light. In the teaser, Wishfield is represented by five icons. While four of the five correspond to Wishfield's current zones, the mushroom icon on the top left is currently unused. The data shared by vincentasm also makes reference to terms such as Snail City, Giant Cult, and a Mushroom King called Abutata.
Assuming the mushroom icon is reserved for this zone, it's likely that Nikki will complete her journey in Wishfield by learning the Gigantify ability. Given that she can learn the Shrinking ability in the Wishing Woods, introducing the inverse of that ability feels like a logical way to expand Nikki's skillset. While it remains to be seen when Infold will add the final Wishfield zone to the game, players are also looking forward to a housing system coming to Infinity Nikki in the near future. Assuming Infold follows through with its roadmap for Infinity Nikki, players can expect both pieces of content to be ready by Summer 2025.
