Decorations are items that can be used to take photos in Infinity Nikki. They don't serve a practical purpose but are great items to have for players who enjoy this side of the game. To commemorate certain events, the developer also ensures that there are some decorations that match the theme of the version. For example, in the Fireworks Season of version 1.2, players can use Flower Lanterns in Infinity Nikki to create a romantic atmosphere in bodies of water.

Flower Lanterns are event-exclusive decorations available in version 1.2. To remind players of this feature, the Strings of Time event in Infinity Nikki comes with a task to place five Flower Lanterns and take a photo for a keepsake.

How To Get Flower Lanterns In Infinity Nikki

There are several ways to get Flower Lanterns in Infinity Nikki. For example, some event tasks grant this decoration as a reward, like the Wish Tangram challenge. However, the easiest way to get this item is to buy them from Zhuo Hua. She's standing on the bridge by the White Jade ship, and players can buy up to 1000 Flower Lanterns daily, for 100 Blings each (so 100k Blings for all of them). However, since Flower Lanterns are event-exclusive items and will expire, it's best to only buy them when Stylists wish to use them. Otherwise, it'll be a waste of Bling.

How To Place Flower Lanterns In Infinity Nikki

Placing the Flower Lanterns in Infinity Nikki is the same as how players can place decorations:

First, head to the Creative Items section in the backpack, and press on the Flower Lantern. Next, choose Equip.
Assign the Flower Lantern to one of the three available slots, then close the box.
Exit the backpack page, then make sure the Flower Lantern is equipped. If not, press the icon on the right-side of the screen to switch it on. For mobile players, simply tap on the button; PC users can hold Z; whereas controller users can hold down-button.
Choose the Flower Lantern decoration.
Now, players can place the Flower Lantern by pressing the icon (mobile), pressing Z (PC), or down-button (controller).
Place five Flower Lanterns on eligible water surfaces.
Switch to photo mode in Infinity Nikki and make sure all five Flower Lanterns are in the frame. Take a picture of them.

If done correctly, the task will be marked as completed on the event page, after which players can claim the point rewards for progressing in getting the free 4-star outfit.
