What Is a First Discovery?

In Infinite Craft, First Discovery is a combination of two elements combined in a way never crafted before. As the initiator of a First Discovery, you’re the first to introduce this term, earning the title of first discoverer. Other players may craft the same word later, but you’ll always be its original creator.

You can now turn on the "Discoveries" filter above the search tab to see all your First Discoveries.

How Can You Make a First Discovery?

To achieve a First Discovery in Infinite Craft, you need to combine two elements that have never been linked before. Your optimal strategy is to merge long-tail elements containing three to four words. That is because the game’s rising popularity and continual creation of new combinations by other players have made this feat increasingly challenging.

In our playthrough, we managed to create “Legendary Ratan Samurai,” which is a combination of “Legendary,” “Rat Ratan,” and “Samurai.” Later, we merged our First Discovery with “Rock,” obtaining the “Legendary Rock Ratan Samurai.”

Tips for Getting More First Discoveries

While the creation of elements in Infinite Craft involves a complex interplay of terms and concepts, there are some tricks to manipulate outcomes. Here are four tips to help you accumulate more First Discoveries for your collection.

Combine nouns with concepts. One good way to get First Discoveries is by linking specific names with broad concepts. For instance, Samurai + Infinity or Marline Monroe + Freedom. These duos are likeliest to get you closer to never-seen-before terms.
Breed your first discovery. Keep merging your First Discoveries with each other. This way, you are guaranteed to get more odd terminologies because your ingredients are atypical.
Forget the rational; go for the random. Try unthinkable and unconventional combos. (You never know what’s the outcome of linking Rambo with Toilet and Infinity.)
Think in rhymes. In Infinite Craft, merging two unlikely words that rhyme often results in the creation of peculiar terms. For instance, “Satan Ratan Rat” is a First Discovery we crafted by combining three rhyming words.

There seems to be a limit of four words per unique entry in Infinite Craft. This means that you may not be able to continue fusing the same term after reaching a four-word First Discovery.
