The Secret of the Queen Mother is one of the Fieldwork quests Indiana will encounter while exploring the southern part of Gizeh in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Professor Omar will help you navigate the area and explain what you should be looking for inside the tomb of Khentkawes I.
Sadly, the tomb can’t be accessed immediately as the elevator is out of order. So, to solve this Fieldwork quest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Dr. Jones must find two power sources and pull the lever to activate the elevator.

Secret Of The Queen Mother Fieldwork In Indiana Jones And The Great Circle
To trigger the quest, head to the southern part of the Gizeh map, close to the crate location in the Bright Future Mystery, and approach a tent with Professor Omar inside. Speak with the Professor and read what he gives you to trigger the Secret of the Queen Mother Fieldwork.
Once the quest starts, head inside the marked location on the map, but make sure to wear the appropriate outfit to complete the quest smoothly. Once you arrive at the elevator and try the lever, Indy discovers it’s not working. You must find two power sources and pull their lever to use the elevator and descend to the tomb of Khentkawes I.
How To Power Up The Elevator In Indiana Jones And The Great Circle
To reach the first lever, head inside the room with the red cable and follow it to find the power source:
- Proceed from the room entrance until a locked gate appears, which is the shortcut you will encounter later.
- Continue through the hole in the wall and go down the ladder.
- Head into the room full of soldiers and follow the red cable to reach the wooden platforms.
- Climb them to the top to find a lone soldier.
- Turn right and climb to another platform.
- Go left to open the shortcut and then go right and jump over the edges to reach the other side.
- Follow the red cable and turn left to find the first power source.
- Turn the lever and get out of the shortcut to reach the top faster.
To reach the second lever, head inside the room with the big blue cable and follow it to find the power source:
- From the entrance, proceed forward and climb the stairs.
- Approach the blue machine and pull the lever to electrocute the soldiers, as they will cause a problem later.
- Go left to find a soldier.
- Take care of him and use the whip to swing to the other side.
- Head right and crawl through the hole while following the blue cable.
- Jump down and cross the bridge, then climb the nearby ladder.
- Pull the lever to power up the elevator.
Shortly after pulling the lever, two soldiers will unlock the nearby shortcut that you can use to reach the elevator faster. Press -1 to descend to the tomb of Khentkawes I.
How To Solve The Tomb Of Khentkawes I Stone Glyph Puzzle In Indiana Jones And The Great Circle
After reaching the main room of the tomb of Khentkawes I, there will be three Stone Glyphs; Fish, Snake, and Bird. To solve the puzzle, Indy needs to place each stone in its correct position on the mural.
Follow the drawings on the mural to solve the puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle:
- The top is filled with soaring birds, so place the Bird Stone Glyph.
- The middle part is filled with snakes, so put the Snake Stone Glyph.
- The bottom part is underwater full of fish, so place the Fish Stone Glyph.
After solving the puzzle, a light beam appears and points at a weak cracked wall. Grab a heavy weapon and destroy the wall to crawl through a tunnel. It will lead Indy to the queen’s secret chamber, where Indy picks up the Light Stele.
You can snap a picture with the camera for extra Adventure Points before heading out. Return to the tent and speak with Professor Omar to complete the Secret of the Queen Mother Fieldwork.
