Made by MachineGames, the Bethesda studio responsible for the Wolfenstein reboot series, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle impressed players and critics alike with its immersive stealth, grounded hand-to-hand combat, and impactful storytelling. Troy Baker's performance as Indiana Jones was also a point of high praise, as the game combined his voice work with Harrison Ford's likeness from the original films. Why Assassin's Creed 2 Fans Shouldn't Sleep On Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

More than a decade after release, Assassin's Creed 2 may have found something of a spiritual successor in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Just days out from Indiana Jones and the Great Circle's PlayStation 5 release, Sony has put out a PS Blog post highlighting all the PS5 Pro enhancements players will be able to look forward to. The PS5 Pro version of the game will be capable of running at a native 4K resolution, and will also support 60 frames-per-second, as well as advanced ray tracing. The post didn't specify whether 4K60 is possible, but knowing the power of the PS5 Pro, players will likely be able to enjoy both 4K resolution and 60 FPS at the same time without compromise.

MachineGames hasn't left the PS5 DualSense controller out in the cold, as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will take advantage of several of its key features. The controller's adaptive triggers and haptic feedback will make themselves known as players scale walls with Indy's iconic whip, get into brutal fistfights, or use items like Indy's lighter that lets him get through dark Egyptian tombs and other such areas. The DualSense's LED light will also get in on the action, turning green, yellow, or red depending on different situations players find themselves in, like blowing stealth, getting into combat, and more. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle also makes use of the PS5's Community Game Help feature for those who need a little nudge during their globetrotting adventure.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle arrives on PlayStation 5 on April 17. Gamers who want to start Indiana Jones' journey a few days earlier can by preordering the Premium or Collector's editions of the game, which grant players access on April 15.
