Players who want to take on some of the toughest challenges in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road's Chronicle and Competition Modes will need to get their characters to high levels. Fortunately, there are methods that can be used to level up characters extremely quickly, and doing so does not even require much input from the player. This guide is here to provide information on those methods, and it will help players earn fast XP in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.

While players who want to farm XP as quickly as possible will need to have the ability to play Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road online, there is a decent way to do so when offline.

XP Farm in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road

Play Ranked Matches

Repeatedly playing online ranked matches is the fastest way to level up characters in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, as players will earn a tremendous amount of XP regardless of if they win or lose those matches. In fact, players will even receive an XP boost when facing off against teams that are at a higher level, and this boost can be extremely significant if the level discrepancy is large. Here are details on how to play ranked matches in Victory Road, and players should find that the levels of the characters in their teams rise very quickly:

  1. Select Competition Mode from the main menu.
  2. Select Compete Online.
  3. Choose Ranked Match.

Grinding online ranked matches is also a great way to earn Bond Stars in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. For the uninitiated, that currency can be used to get players through Chronicle Mode's Player Constellation, including the extremely powerful Hero characters.

While players who are going to use online ranked matches to farm XP are certainly free to play through them in manual mode, it is worth noting that they can also allow the AI to control their team by using commander mode. To activate commander mode, players should simply press the input that appears near the bottom-left corner of the screen during a match, and it minimizes how active they need to be. That said, it is at least worth manually skipping through cutscenes and setting formations, as doing so will bring down match length.

Rare Drop and Hero Battles

Players who want to stick to single-player offerings can focus on farming XP in Chronicle Mode instead. Indeed, winning Rare Drop and Hero Battles is a good way to level up characters, and players will unlock those by winning the preceding battles (Chronicle and Route Unlock) on a node in the Chronicle Competition Route. That said, players will need to be able to defeat Level 21+ teams in order to start farming these battles, which means that this method may not be accessible when characters are at very low levels.

Not only will players get XP for winning Rare Drop and Hero Battles, they can also earn items that provide additional XP.
