Players cannot use New Possibilities to remove fixed abilities from Hero characters in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.
How to Get New Possibilities for Chronicle & Competition Mode in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road
BB Stadium
Players who want to swap out the abilities of the Victory Road characters they are using in Chronicle and Competition Mode should turn their attention to the BB Stadium game mode. More specifically, players will receive one New Possibilities upon completion of a BB Stadium Campaign on Challenging difficulty. For full clarity, here are the steps that players should take to access the relevant campaign, and they will find that it is made up of seven matches:
- Select BB Stadium from the main menu.
- Select campaign.
- Choose the team that you want to control and select Challenging difficulty.
Not only will players receive one New Possibilities upon completion of the campaign, they will also earn two Victory Crate (Legendary), five Large Exp Orbs, 10 BB Rare Medal, 10 BB Name Tag, and 10 BB Pin Badge.
Victory Crate (Legendary)
There is a chance that players will receive a New Possibilities when opening a Victory Crate (Legendary). As previously noted, players will receive two of those crates when they finish a BB Stadium Campaign on Challenging difficulty, giving them additional opportunities to earn New Possibilities from that game mode. A Victory Crate (Legendary) can also be awarded after winning a Hero Battle in Chronicle Mode, giving players a way to get New Possibilities outside of BB Stadium.
Since a Victory Crate (Legendary) is not awarded after every Hero Battle, and not every one of them holds a New Possibilities, it is recommended that players who want to consistently earn New Possibilities focus on completing BB Stadium Campaigns on Challenging difficulty.
How to Get New Possibilities for Story Mode in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road
Magic Moves (Arcade Branch)
Players can purchase New Possibilities from a shop in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road's Story Mode. More specifically, New Possibilities can be found at Magic Moves (Arcade Branch) on the Downtown map, and they are under the Consumables tab. The precise position of that shop can be seen in the images above, and if New Possibilities are not currently on sale, players should simply check again after advancing the main story.
New Possibilities purchased in Story Mode cannot be used to alter characters for Chronicle and Competition Mode in Victory Road. Similarly, New Possibilities that are earned outside of Story Mode cannot be used within it.
