There have been some truly despicable Majiks who have already been shown in the story of Ichi the Witch, but Bakugami might just be the worst of them all. On the surface, Bakugami teaches the form of a small and innocent pig who possesses the ability to bring people happiness the moment that they decide to hug it. The truth, however, is a lot more sinister, as Bakugami is actually an evil Majik who was planning on storing away the people of Kagami's sadness before then unleashing it all back into their original bodies in order to drive them all into a bloody frenzy.
While Ichi and Gokuraki eventually stopped Bakugani, it was definitely the hardest fight they've both had up until this point. The main reason this Majik is so strong is because of its trial, which forces a person to absorb all the sorrow that Bakugami stored up without dying, and considering she had more than 10 years of it locked away, it's easy to understand why the brotherly duo had such a difficult time taking her down.
6 Chikutoge Togeice

While many of the Witches seen in the Maninel Witches Association tend to be pretty laid-back and less than concerned with their studies, Togeice has always been the exception. From a young age, Togeice was determined to learn everything there was to know about being a strong and reliable Witch, to the point where she became so formidable that she ended up gaining a staggering 16 Majiks to use anytime she came face-to-face with a tough opponent.

Most of her abilities are based on the ice element, as shown when she went head-to-head with Ichi to find the mushroom Majik, where Toegice unleashed giant ice dragons and even froze an entire landscape in mere seconds. Admittedly, though, Togeice can sometimes struggle in frontal confrontations, considering she prefers using her smarts to create a well-set-out plan of attack before engaging in combat, but regardless, she is still one of the association's go-to Witches when it comes to seeking out powerful Majiks.
5 Gokuraku Kagami

When Ichi first meets Gokuraku, it seems as though he is a little more than a brutal mercenary who simply gets a kick out of beating up Majiks, despite not being able to absorb their powers (considering he's a man). It's eventually revealed, though, that Gokuraku is actually on a mission to take down Bakugami, the Majik who stole all the sorrow from not only his sister, but his entire village, and to accomplish this, he has augmented his body with magical items to greatly increase his strength and durability.
By using his Synchro Rate technique, Gokuraku can kick and punch his way through even the sturdiest of opponents. He is able to flatten most Majiks with his bare hands, and that's all without even needing to utilize any magic abilities. At the end of the day, though, he is still a human and is far from invincible, but this is honestly hard to believe given how much punishment he has been able to take and still remain standing.
4 King Uroro
A Ferocious Majik With an Unhealthy Appetite for Destruction

Uroro is the first Majik that Ichi comes across at the beginning of his journey, and it's also the one who allowed Ichi to actually become a Witch in the first place. The reason for this is that King Uroro's trial — that is, the requirement for defeating and claiming him — was that he needed to be beaten by a man, and considering only women could become Witches, the ferocious Majik was able to wreak havoc across countless villages and towns without needing to worry about being apprehended.
Thankfully, his reign of terror was stopped once Ichi plunged a knife into his chest, acquiring Uroro's devastating power for himself. Ichi has been able to amplify a few of his own magic abilities through the help of this snarky demon, and while its true potential is yet to be seen, the way the Witches have spoken about Uroro prove that he's not someone to be taken lightly.

It makes sense that the protagonist of the series would inevitably be at least somewhat powerful, but it's honestly staggering just how much stronger Ichi has already become since the story started. It's made very clear near the beginning of the series that most Witches will take months or even years to hunt down a single Majik, so the fact that Ichi has been able to acquire multiple in the space of just a few weeks is truly remarkable. Ichi's experience with hunting makes him a ferocious close combat fighter, and when paired with his endless bloodlust, it's hard to counter him when he's fully focused on his target.

It's quite shocking that the World Hater Majik is introduced so early on in the story, considering this entity is clearly one of the most powerful beings in the world. This Majik is all about warping and erasing as much of the world as possible, as he has managed to do several times by completely removing entire villages and towns from existence. When he came face to face with Ichi, the World Hater Majik summoned an entire army of giants that would slowly shuffle forward and decimate anything that got in their way, all while the Majik himself sat back and enjoyed the view.
It was even shown that this Majik was able to continue on living after having his head cut off by Damascus, which just goes to show how difficult it truly is to take him down for good. Ichi has a long way to go before he is fully prepared to take on this mysterious Majik, as right now, there is barely anyone who can even land a scratch on him, let alone kill him.
1 Desscaras
Desscaras Makes it No Secret That She's the Strongest Witch Alive

Desscaras may talk a big game about how much stronger she is than the other Witches, but there's a reason why she can make such bold claims with full confidence. Desscaras is undoubtedly the most powerful character in the series so far, being more than capable of striking fear into the eyes of any Majiks who dared to stand up to her. In fact, she was even able to push the World Hater Majik to its limit before it was forced to disappear, and the reason she was able to do this was because of her abundance of magic powers.
Dasscaras states that she's actually lost count of the number of Majiks that she's defeated, meaning that her abilities are more or less endless. One moment, she will be burning a Majik to smithereens with a giant fiery explosion, while the next, she's firing off her deadly Iskandar light beam to destroy multiple enemies with one blast. To put it simply, there is no telling what Desscaras is going to pull out next in the middle of a battle, making her an unpredictable Witch who is more than capable of backing up her arrogant statements through her own actions.
