Robin makes her way into the Honkai: Star Rail roster in version 2.2, competing for the title of the best Harmony unit in the game. What’s so good about Robin is her ability to buff the entire team’s damage while she advances their actions. She does all that while protecting herself from debuffs during her Concerto State. This opens the way for players to construct many teams for Robin in Honkai: Star Rail.

Speaking of teams, since Robin buffs all her team at once, it’s better to include characters that are able to deal damage, even if they were Supports in Honkai: Star Rail. This also holds true since Robin deals additional damage on each ally's attack, so having a Support that occasionally uses Basic Attack is good to trigger this feature.

1 Robin + Dr. Ratio + Topaz and Numby + Aventurine

Robin shines in teams where everyone is capable of dealing high damage. For that, having Topaz, Aventurine, and Dr. Ratio on her team is exactly what she needs. Aventurine combines protecting his team with triggering his follow-up attacks. They’re needed to keep expanding the shield he grants to everybody. On the other hand, Topaz and Dr. Ratio are two Hunt units that heavily rely on follow-up attacks and can deal tons of damage if they are paired properly.

Here is where Robin comes in to glue this team together perfectly. First, Robin buffs every single Topaz and Numby attack with her Trace passive since all their damage is considered follow-up damage in Honkai: Star Rail. Robin can also give everyone their turn back when she casts her Ultimate and that allows everyone to attack more on top of their follow-up attacks triggering right after. Not only that, but Robin will keep following their attacks with her passive damage and that can easily go above 100k total with how many follow-up attacks the team can trigger.

2 Robin + Acheron + Pela + Aventurine

Losing a Nihility or a unit that can debuff enemies can be hurtful for Acheron’s rotations in Honkai: Star Rail. However, just like Sparkle, Robin can make that up with the amount of damage she can buff. Eventually, for this lineup, Acheron has to count on Pela and Aventurine to stack up her Ultimate, unless she’s E2, the Eidolon required to do it herself.

Aventurine is a good pair with Robin in this team composition since he can debuff and trigger follow-up attacks frequently while protecting the team. Pela is also a decent damaging unit that can benefit from Harmony’s buff in her team. All these characters having decent damage help make the most of Robin’s buff.

3 Robin + Argenti/Imbibitor Lunae + Tingyun + Huohuo

While Imbibitor Lunae relies on his Ultimate to operate, Argenti needs it to just deal insane damage. Eventually, both DPS units heavily rely on Tingyun and Huohuo to fill up their Energy requirements. Not only that, but both Huohuo and Tingyun add a crazy amount of ATK% and DMG% to active DPS.

Although Robin performs better with teams that have multiple DPS units, she’s surprisingly good with Argenti and Imbibitor Lunae since they both greatly rely on the stats she buffs, like ATK%, DMG%, and Crit DMG%. Robin is also SP positive since she’s either inactive in her Concerto State or using her Basic ATK to generate Skill Points and that can be helpful for both DPS units, especially Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae in Honkai: Star Rail. Finally, playing with a team that is rich in characters that buff Energy Regeneration is a blessing for characters like Robin since it allows her to keep using her Ultimate. Keep in mind that this team, especially Imbibitor Lunae's team, may not work as smoothly without Huohuo.
