Destiny Rising manages to almost perfectly nail all the things that made the franchise enjoyable for so many, but given that it's a gacha game, it naturally comes with a few things that are on-par for this sub-genre, with Lumia Leaves being the most obvious one.
Lumia Leaves are one of the premium currencies in Destiny Rising, and for many players, they're likely to end up getting used for rolling in the gacha banners. While the game's gacha system is fairly generous, players will still want to get as many Lumia Leaves as they can if they want to get every character in the game.
Things To Do First in Destiny Rising
Discover the best ways to start your journey in Destiny Rising with this beginner's guide!
Complete Quests
Completing main story and character quests is the most straightforward way of getting more Lumia Leaves in Destiny Rising, and as such, we strongly recommend doing these first. Not only do you get your leaves, but you'll also get other resources (including legendary weapons) while unlocking all the other content the game has to offer.
Complete Triumphs
Triumphs are basically achievements, and depending on what Triumph you complete, you'll get varying amounts of Lumia Leaves (with five being the smallest amount). Players will unlock Triumphs naturally as they play through the game, though some of the more demanding ones will require more attention than usual.
Open Chests and Complete Exploration Goals
T here are plenty of chests scattered around the patrol zones of Destiny Rising, and Regional Chests will always have some Lumia Leaves for players to grab. Regional Chests are marked on your map, and they emit a beeping sound that you can easily hear when you're nearby. Small flags or banners will also be present near these chests.
Exploration goals such as Fallen Drones and Points of Interest also reward Lumia Leaves. You can track their locations by opening your current region's map and selecting them from the list on the left.
You can re-roll in Destiny Rising by deleting your game account and making a new one with your preferred emaill address.
The Handbook
The Handbook is where players can see lists of challenges that will teach them the ropes of Destiny Rising. Completing these challenges may reward you with Lumia Leaves as well as other important items, including weapons and upgrade materials. Check out the Optional Quests and Training Grounds tabs for even more rewards.
Destiny Rising FAQ (Platforms, Price & More)
Destiny: Rising brings the sci-fi shooting action to mobiles for the first time. Here's a breakdown of what you need to know ahead of launch.
Daily and Weekly Bounties
As you progress through the game, you'll eventually unlock the Bounties system, which will give you some extra side objectives to complete as you go about your regular business. High-Value Bounties reward Lumia Leaves, but these are limited to only a few every three days. Once you finish all bounties, you'll have to wait until the next reset to get more.
Endgame activities like The Expanse and Calamity Ops also reward players with a sustainable source of Lumia Leaves. Make sure to do these together with High-Value Bounties to maximize your weekly gains.
Shifting Gates
Shifting Gates is a PvEvP game mode similar to Gambit in Destiny 2. Here, players need to defeat enemies and collect motes. Completing a Shifting Gates match rewards players with gear and materials, but more importantly, you'll be able to rank up and complete weekly quests that reward Lumia Leaves. This is a great mode to play if you want to grind with some buddies in Destiny Rising.
Purchase with Silver
As one of Destiny Rising's premium currencies, players can get Lumia Leaves by getting Silver, which is bought with real money. There are several packs to choose from, but if you don't want to spend much money, you can also get a subscription pack that rewards you with daily Lumia Leaves just for logging into the game. This model works similarly to the ones in other gacha games like Wuthering Waves and Honkai: Star Rail.
Destiny Rising's Battle Pass also rewards players with Lumia Leaves and many other rewards.
Events
Game events are excellent sources of Lumia Leaves and other valuable rewards. However, these usually run only for a limited time, which means you need to commit to finishing them if you want to get all the stuff they have to offer. An expired event is bound to get replaced with a new one, so if you miss an event, you can look forward to another one soon enough.
How to Use Lumia Leaves in Destiny Rising
Lumia Leaves are mainly used to pull in gacha banners, but before that, you'll first need to convert them into Bon Voyage Charms. Keep in mind that there are two types of charm:
- Bon Voyage L.E. Charms are used for pulling in limited/featured character banners.
- Regular Bon Voyage Charms are for pulling in standard banners.
Either way, you need 180 Lumia Leaves to get one Charm of either type. However, some activities, events, and other reward sources can give you Bon Voyage Charms directly, so you won't always need to use Lumia Leaves to get them.
