Stoicism is the Exotic Class Item for Titans in Destiny 2, and for many builds, it's the secret sauce that makes everything work together perfectly. This item isn't exactly mandatory to get a good, functioning Titan build going, but if you're looking to make some crazy loadouts, you'll want to get one of these for yourself.
The good thing about Exotic Class Items is they can all be obtained the same way, even if that way can be a bit inconvenient for solo players. Still, it's well worth getting, especially if you want to spice up your Titan builds.
Destiny 2: Best Weapons for Boss DPS
When it comes to burning a boss' health bar in Destiny 2, these weapons should be the first ones that come to mind.
Where to Get Stoicism in Destiny 2
All Exotic Class Items can roll with two random perks, which means players will need to do a lot of farming to get the right rolls. But, before everything else, players need to get their first Exotic Class Item by completing the Dual Destiny mission. Unlocking it is a fairly lengthy process, and the mission itself requires a minimum of two players.
Once you complete Dual Destiny, you'll get a guaranteed Stoicism drop, but only if you're playing as a Titan. After that, you can either run Dual Destiny again for more Stoicism drops, or you can do the following:
- Visit Xur whenever he's at the Tower. He should have an Exotic Class Item as part of his wares. You won't be able to buy Stoicism from him if you haven't finished Dual Destiny.
- Open chests in the Pale Heart. Any chest should have a chance to drop Stoicism.

Best Perks for Stoicism |
|
|---|---|
|
Severance + Contact |
Your Finishers and powered melee final blows unleash an explosion, and powered melee hits Jolt enemies and call lightning bolts down to strike them. This is an amazing combo for melee builds, especially ones with Throwing Hammer, Consecration, and Thunderclap. |
|
Eternal Warrior + Star-Eater |
When you pick up Orbs of Power while your Super Energy is full, your Super gains bonus damage. After you use your Super, you gain bonus weapon damage if your weapon matches your Super's element. This is a great roll for boss DPS phases, especially with Thundercrash or Twilight Arsenal. |
|
Assassin + Contact |
Finishers and powered melee final blows make you Invisible, and much like the first roll, damaging targets with powered melee hits apply Jolt and call down lightning strikes. This roll offers more survivability than the first one, making it great for difficult endgame content. |
|
Eternal Warrior + Scars |
After you use your Super, final blows with weapons matching your Super's element gain bonus damage and cause healing bursts to erupt from you, granting you and nearby allies Restoration. Again, great for one-off Supers like Thundercrash and Twilight Arsenal, but only for encounters with high mob density. |
|
Inmost Light + Alpha Lupi |
Casting abilities empower your other abilities, and casting your Class Ability releases healing pulses. An excellent, all-around choice for survivability. |
|
Inmost Light + Verity |
Casting abilities empower your other abilities, and weapon final blows with an element matching your Super grants a stacking grenade damage bonus and grenade energy regeneration buff. |
