While previously you could share your unique user link with other players to add them, Monopoly GO has introduced Friend Codes, a simpler and more efficient way to connect with friends. Friend Codes are unique codes assigned to each player's account. By sharing your Friend Code with friends, they can easily add you to their list and start playing together.

How To Find Your Friend Code in Monopoly GO
Monopoly GO’s Friend Codes are alphanumerical codes that can be shared with other players to add them. If you don’t know where to find your unique Friend Code, follow the instructions below:
- Launch the Monopoly GO app on your device.
- Next, click on the Friends menu at the bottom right of the screen.
- You'll find your Friend Code displayed prominently at the top of the screen under the “Add Friends” tab.
- Copy your Friend Code and share it with other players via your desired channel. You can also tap on the Share button to access your device’s share menu.
How to Use Friend Codes in Monopoly GO
Although you can also use friend invite links, Friend Codes are now the standard way to add other Monopoly GO players. If another player has shared their Friend Code with you, follow these steps to add them as a friend:
- Open the Friends menu and tap on the “Search” icon.
- Tap on the green magnifying glass icon on the right.
- Enter the player’s Friend Code in the designated input field.
- Hit the Search button to send a friend request.
You’ll receive a notification that you are both now friends and can start playing together.
Make sure you’ve entered the correct Friend Code, or you may accidentally add the wrong person.
Once you’re friends with another Monopoly GO player, you can trade stickers with them using the Safe Exchange feature, or invite them to any co-op minigames, like the Tycoon Racers event or Partners Event. You can also view their current net worth in the Leaderboard section of the Friends and Family menu.
