Available Super Mario Bros. Wonder Icons
The Super Mario Bros. Wonder icons became available as soon as the game launched, and gamers have until October 26, 2023, to unlock them. Just like the Tears of the Kingdom icons, they may return in the future, as these icons tend to rotate from time to time.
Custom icons are only available for Nintendo Switch Online users, so players who want to acquire the Mario Wonder icons will have to have an active subscription before Wave 1 ends. Here are all the characters included in this wave:

Each character costs ten Platinum Points and each background and border costs five Platinum Points, so in order to unlock everything in Wave 1, players will have to spend a total of 175 Platinum Points.
So far, Nintendo has only disclosed information regarding the first wave of Super Mario Bros. Wonder icons. Fans aren't sure when they'll receive more icons, but it is implied that there will be more options later on, as there are a lot more characters in the game.
How to Redeem and Make Custom Super Mario Bros. Wonder Icons
Players can redeem the Super Mario Bros. Wonder icons in the Missions & Rewards section of the Nintendo Switch Online App. The app can be accessed by clicking the red icon on the bottom left corner of the Home screen.
Special custom icons can only be created within the Nintendo Switch Online App. Gamers can either make them by selecting the element that they would like to use for their icon in the Rewards section, or they can select the Icon Collection button on the top right-hand corner of the screen, next to the Platinum Points button. In the creation menu, fans can make all sorts of icon combinations.
