The F1 25 driver roster expands with the addition of the APXGP team, introduced alongside Apple TV’s Formula 1 film starring Brad Pitt. These allow players to take control of Pitt’s character and race against his teammate and the rest of the grid.

How to Unlock Brad Pitt's Sonny Hayes in F1 25
To unlock Brad Pitt as a playable character in F1 25, players must purchase the Iconic Edition of the game. This edition grants access to exclusive content for APXGP, the fictional team featured in the Formula 1 film, where Pitt’s character, Sonny Hayes, races.
Along with Brad Pitt, players will unlock various themed scenarios within F1 25, granting the character’s helmet for in-game use after the successful completion of all of them once launched, and his teammate Joshua Pearce, portrayed by Damson Idris. Additionally, players can race as or compete against the APXGP team across various F1 25 game modes.
To complete the Iconic Edition of F1 25 offering, it also includes F3 Driver Icons, the Lewis Hamilton Iconic Pack, F1 World Bumper Pack, and 18,000 PitCoins available to spend in the store to further customize your in-game experience.
How to Race as Brad Pitt in F1 25
To race as Brad Pitt in F1 25, players must enter the Career mode – either Driver Career, My Team, or Two-Player Career – and add APXGP as the 11th team on the grid. In My Team, players manage both team performance and operations, while in Driver and Two-Player Career, they control Brad Pitt with limited access to car upgrades. Once APXGP is added, selecting Sonny Hayes as the driver will unlock Brad Pitt as a playable character.
Additionally, players can choose to add Formula 1 legends to race alongside or against Brad Pitt and his teammate, in addition to all official drivers from the 2025 F1 season. This creates a more realistic and immersive experience, with expanded team options and dynamic roster changes.
In both My Team and Driver or Two Player Career modes, players can lead Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) and APXGP to the top, even competing for the world championship. While My Team offers greater customization, allowing players to start with a performance disadvantage compared to rivals, both modes provide a full experience with 22 drivers on official Formula 1 circuits.
