How to Unlock New Weapons in The Finals

Unlocking weapons in The Finals requires the in-game currency. Players can earn money by gaining experience and eventually leveling up. To do so, they should try to win as many matches as possible. Winning consistently will net players a hefty sum of currency pretty easily.

Players can choose the Quick Play modes, such as Bank It and Quick Cash, and try cashing out twice to earn quickly.

Most weapons cost around 600. Once players have enough currency, they can follow the steps below to unlock new weapons:

Click on the Equipments tab from the main menu.
Select your character’s class from the top left menu. Each class has a different movement speed.

- Light

- Medium

- Heavy

Next, select an equipment section to unlock.

- Specializations

- Weapons

- Gadgets

Finally, choose the weapon you want and then click on the yellow Unlock button.

The amount of VRs needed will be deducted, and the new weapon will be added to your inventory. Both Specializations and Gadgets require 1000 VRs.

How to Equip New Weapons in The Finals

After purchasing new weapons and gadgets, players can equip them and change their loadout easily. To do so, follow the steps below.

Click on the Contestants tab in the main menu.
Select the character whose loadout you wish to change.
From the Loadouts tab, select from either of the categories below:

- Specialization

- Weapon

- Reserve

Add the newly unlocked weapon to the Weapons section to equip it. Placing it under the Reserve tab allows you to switch from your current weapon to the new one in the middle of the match.

Players will have to change their loadout each time they want to equip new Weapons and Reserves.
