Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero offers players several Character Episodes to play, each allowing you to experience key fights from Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super from the perspective of the chosen character. Naturally, since some characters don't fight much, some of these stories are much shorter than others. One of the shorter but more interesting Character Episodes available is Freiza's.

If you follow the main story path of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero's Freiza episode, it will end with Freiza's defeat during Resurrection F. If, however, you take the right steps during his fateful battle with Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan Blue forms, you can access a Sparking Episode that shifts his role in later events in a particularly interesting way.

How to Unlock the Sparking Episode: The Freiza Force Joins the Fray in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero_Freiza Sparking Episode 1

Unlocking this Sparking Episode requires players to be very quick when fighting Goku and Vegeta during the mission "Freiza Revived." You'll have to take out Goku and Vegeta in less than 2 minutes to trigger the Sparking Episode, which can be really difficult. Your best bet is to focus on nailing them with Super and Ultimate Attacks, taking full advantage of the "True Golden Freiza" skill to instantly recharge into Sparking Mode.

Successfully pulling this off will lead to Beerus negotiating with Freiza, allowing him to use the Dragon Balls to resurrect his dead allies in exchange for leaving Earth intact. (Beerus does enjoy Earth's food, after all.) Freiza then goes back to his intergalactic Conquering until he's approached by Beerus to recruit him for the Tournament of Power. In exchange for getting to pick some allies to join the Tournament Team, Freiza agrees and we get to choose from four different options. Following this, Freiza goes on to secure Universe 7's Victory with help from King Cold, Cooler, The Ginyu Force, or Zarbon & Dodoria depending on your choice.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero_Freiza Sparking Episode 2

This story requires you to play through all of Freiza's possible choices before you'll get the achievement for beating it, so it takes a little longer to clear than many of the other Sparking Episodes.
