Released in 2023, Ready or Not is a First-Person Shooter in which players take on the role of a police officer in a SWAT team. This unit specializes in dealing with intense hostile situations. However, this game is a bit different from other FPS games, since it requires highly tactical thinking in a very short time.

In Ready or Not, proficiency in shooting skills is as crucial as tactical prowess. Players will be dealing with extremely hostile situations, where all the capabilities of a SWAT officer will be put to test. In order to outplay their opponents, players need to be both quick and smart. Learning how to sprint efficiently is a key aspect of swift maneuvering, and this guide aims to assist players in mastering this skill.

How to Sprint

In-game movement is a big part of every first-person shooter game. Speed, stealth, and resilience are crucial traits for players seeking an edge over opponents. This is how players can save time by sprinting across the locations in Ready or Not:

Engage the Low-Ready Toggle

To sprint in the game, the players must first engage the Low-Ready toggle option in-game. Doing so will make the character lower the gun from an engaging position to an idle stop. This allows the player to run faster and move quickly throughout the map.

Although it isn’t a real sprint, rather just an option that allows players to have increased speed. The game does not have a built-in sprint but the Low-Ready Toggle comes close to it.

Armor

Once the Low-Ready Toggle has been enabled, players need to focus on the second step. Understanding this principle of physics is vital: heavier armor slows down movement, while lighter armor facilitates faster travel. So, wearing lighter armor will allow players to move faster.

How to Enable The Low-Ready Toggle

To enable the Low-Ready Toggle, all players need to do is press their Home Key on the Keyboard. This is the default button for this setting. Nevertheless, players can change the button using the following directory.

  • Options > Controls > Interaction Menu

Locate the Low-Ready Toggle and choose a viable button for this Option.
