As of September 18, 2023, Payday 3 players have been able to access the game 3 days before everyone else, so long as they have purchased either the Payday 3 Silver Edition or the Payday 3 Gold Edition. Although both of these versions of the game cost notably more than the Payday 3 Standard Edition, they come with bonuses that the original version of the game will lack.

For players that have the Standard Edition, the official release of Payday 3 will feature on September 21, 2023. Players with these premium editions of Payday 3 can enjoy up to three days of early access, meaning they can get used to the new mechanics of the game and the quality of life changes that make the game a more modern and advanced version of Payday 2, complete with new mechanics and heists to keep players engaged.
