To start playing Madden NFL 25 early, players will need to purchase either the Deluxe edition of the game or the MVP Bundle, the latter of which includes the Deluxe editions of both Madden 25 and the recently released College Football 25. Those who do so will be able to start playing Madden NFL 25 up to 72 hours early, with Early Access already available as of the time of writing.

What's Included in the Deluxe Edition of Madden NFL 25?

In addition to 3 Days of Early Access, anyone who buys the Deluxe edition of Madden NFL 25 will get a Hall of Fame Player Item, Early Access Challenges, and 4,600 Madden Points, the latter of which can be used in the Madden Ultimate Team game mode. Assuming they pre-order it, they'll also gain access to the same pre-order bonuses that come with the Standard edition, which include a Christian McCaffrey Elite Player, a Choice of 2 Strategy Items, some Superstar Drip Gear (next-gen and PC only), and a Legendary XP Boost (next-gen and PC only).

Is The Deluxe Edition Worth the Extra Money?

Players can expect to pay an extra $30 for the Deluxe edition of Madden NFL 25, which is quite a lot for those who only really want the early access. However, anybody who plans on spending time in the Ultimate Team game mode may find value in this version, as the 4,600 Madden Points that come with it will cost a lot more than $30. 2,800 Madden Points will set players back $24.99 ($22.49 with an EA Play subscription) so 4,600 would work out somewhere in the region of $41.
