Combat is a major part of RuneScape Dragonwilds, and players will get intense combat encounters where they'll require a way to heal mid-battle quickly. Now, if you keep your hunger levels in check, your character should start healing if it doesn't receive any damage for a while. However, this form of healing isn't always viable, especially when enemies are armed with ranged weapons or swarm you in numbers. In these situations, a sip of the healing potion will do the job.
RuneScape Dragonwilds: How To Parry Attacks
Parry ability is crucial in RuneScape Dragonwilds, especially while facing multiple enemies at once, here's how to unlock and use it.
How to Make a Healing Potion in RuneScape Dragonwilds
Players will have to do a lot of work when crafting their first healing potion in RuneScape Dragonwilds. However, once the initial work is completed, it'll be much easier to craft potions for the next batch. First, here's the recipe to craft a healing potion in a Brewing Cauldron.
- 1x Harralander
- 1x Redberries
- 1x Clay Vessel
Although it sounds simple enough, preparing the Clay Vessel and fuel (charcoal) for the Cauldron can be a daunting task at first. However, this guide will break down all the steps you need to know to craft your first healing potion in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
Gather Harralander & Clay from Whispering Swamp
If you're underleveled, make sure to visit the swamps in the daytime to avoid fighting strong/enraged enemies.
First, you'll need to go ingredient shopping in the dark and dingy Whispering Swamp area in RuneScape Dragonwilds, north of Bramblemead Valley. Here, you can find the plant of Harralander in random places. Make sure to gather enough to make potions in bulk.
Next, you'll need to find a Clay Node with lumps of clay on it. Use a pickaxe to mine the clay and gather as much as you can. If it's the first time you've received clay, it'll unlock the Brewing Cauldron, Kiln, and the Pottery Wheel.
Crafting a Clay Vessel
Once you've gathered all the materials, return to your base and start constructing a Brewing Cauldron and Pottery Wheel inside your base. Additionally, you'll need to make a Kiln outside your base and feed it Ash Logs to create charcoal (fuel for Brewing Cauldron).
Now, use the clay at the Pottery Wheel to make a Clay Vessel (Unfired). Insert the Unfired Clay Vessel into the Kiln to create the proper Clay Vessel required to create the healing potion in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
Crafting the Healing Potion
Once you have charcoal and a Clay Vessel, put Harralander, Redberries, and Clay Vessel into the Brewing Cauldron and feed it charcoal to create a healing potion. Now you can use the potion to restore 40% health without waiting for health regeneration to kick in.
Players can also find Healing Potions inside the Goblin Bags that are retrieved after defeating goblin enemies in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
