Where to Get the Parasol in Peak
A Parasol is a new item in PEAK that allows players to survive the heat of the blazing sun in the Mesa region. The item is really useful to have, and players can easily get it right before entering Mesa. Just as you complete the climb through the Tropics region and reach the bonfire, there will be one or more luggage scattered around the hill. There's a high chance for players to find the Parasol in one of these luggage (mostly in white ones).
Once you get the item, make sure to equip it with one of the three item slots on your character, and you'll be able to use it. Let's check out the benefits of using a Parasol in PEAK.
How to Use the Parasol in Peak
The new Mesa region introduces a new sunburn mechanic that prevents players from freely exploring the region under direct sunlight. Getting caught in the sunlight will quickly burn your character and start adding burn build-up, which will reduce both stamina and health. So, using the shadows cast by landmasses will be your only hope of traversing Mesa unscathed.
To make your journey through the Mesa biome easier, players can use the Parasol to shield themselves from the blazing sun. Simply open up the Parasol before entering an area with sunlight, and you'll be able to walk freely without getting damaged.
In addition to protecting players from the burning sun, the Parasol can also be opened up midair to help players float in the air and land safely on the ground, nullifying fall damage. This is a useful ability to quickly descend the tall stone pillars in Mesa that players must climb with valuable loot in PEAK.
