Players can start The Prophet’s Song quest in Cyberpunk 2077 by following these steps:

  1. Head to the Watson district.
  2. Locate Garry the Prophet next to Misty’s Esoterica, where he will be preaching loudly about some strange conspiracy theories. Continue visiting this location now and then to hear Garry’s outlandish conspiracy theories.
  3. During his sermons, the player can choose to interact with Garry. While doing so, pick dialogue choices that support Garry, which will eventually cause the crowd to react.
  4. Eventually, Garry will talk about a conspiracy theory involving Werewolves and Nomads. This time, two Nomads will take offense to Garry’s sermon and attack him.
  5. The player can choose to defuse the situation if they started their playthrough as a Nomad. Alternatively, they will have to protect Garry by taking on the Nomads.
  6. After defusing the situation or eliminating the Nomads, Garry will thank the player and inform him that he knows the player does not believe. After some dialogue, Garry will give the player evidence to prove his claims by pointing them towards the Cosmic Plot. Garry will reveal his implant, which allows him to access secret radio waves. This will allow the player to unlock The Prophet’s Song quest.

How to Complete The Prophet’s Song Quest

The Prophet’s Song is a simple quest, and players can complete it by following these steps:

  1. Head to the old factory where the secret meeting will take place, and play out the conversation with Johnny.
  2. Move to a hiding spot and wait for the Maelstrom members to arrive.
  3. Move closer to the group without arousing suspicion and listen to their strange conversation, which is intentional since it minimizes the chances of their information falling into the wrong hands.
  4. After listening to the conversation, two members will exchange an item, the Conspirator’s Chip. Players must act quickly to get the chip before the man in the suit escapes.
  5. After defeating all enemies, players can get the Mystery Chip.
  6. Upon Johnny’s insistence, head back to Garry to find out that he has been abducted and replaced by one of his followers. The quest will be complete after talking to Johnny about what has occurred.
