Given the large number of areas in Hollow Knight: Silksong, players will come across multiple sections inside these areas that are inaccessible. Though most platforming will require Hornet to master a new ability, there are cases where a simple Tool will fix that problem.
An example of one such issue is when coming across the lava areas, mainly in the Deep Docks. Even though players can jump across such areas, minimizing damage, having a more comfortable option is never a bad thing. Here's what players can do to get across certain lava sections in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

How to Reach Deep Docks in Silksong
To reach the Deep Docks, you will need to start from The Marrow and make your way to the bottom right part of the area. It is here that you will come across a bench with Grindle next to you, inside the prison cell. You can free him if you want, as this will reward you with a useful Tool, the Straight Pin, which is a projectile that you have 12 in your inventory. After freeing him, go back out and head down all the way until you reach the metal platforms. Head right here, and as soon as you spot the lava on the ground below, you will reach the Deep Docks.
How to Get Across the Lava in Deep Docks in Silksong
There are quite a few sections in the Deep Docks that are filled with magma, and to avoid this, you can purchase the
Magma Bell. From the Deep Docks entrance, head right, and soon you will come across Shakra, who sells the map in exchange for Rosaries. After you purchase the map and have a clue where you are in the area, head further right to the next room. Here you will spot a sign pointing downwards to where a Bench is located. Hit the lever and go down to find a bench on the right. Go further right, and here you will come across Forge Daughter, who is selling the Red Tool for 110 Rosaries and 1 Craftmetal.
Once you equip the Magma Bell, you will see a flame shield appear whenever you step on magma, which takes a few seconds to break. Even though you can not stand on lava and will definitely take damage, with the Tool equipped, you will take one mask damage instead of two.
