How to Get a Pet (Familiars) in 33 Immortals

33 Immortals can be a punishing game, especially when you're just getting started. Even with 32 other players working toward the same goal, it's easy to get left behind. As more Torture Chambers get cleared and allies fall, you'll often find yourself alone, scouring the map for loot and trying to stay alive.

Having a pet by your side won't boost your damage or survivability, but it definitely adds some flair to your journey. In 33 Immortals, pets are called Familiars, and you can bring one along before heading out to the Beyond. Here's what you need to know to unlock and equip a pet in 33 Immortals.

How to Acquire a Pet in 33 Immortals

To unlock Familiars in 33 Immortals, visit Charon in the Dark Woods. Switch over to the Familiar tab (it's the fourth tab from the left), and you'll see a selection of pets available for purchase. To buy them, you'll need Stardust, which you can earn by diving into the Inferno. Unlike the rarer resource, Paragon, you don't have to grind the map to find Stardust. Just participating in runs will earn you a handful of Stardust each time.

Alternatively, while you're fighting monsters during your run, there's a chance they'll drop Familiar Tokens. Picking one up will unlock a new Familiar in Charon's Wardrobe. The process is similar to how Relic Tokens work. However, pets obtained through Familiar Tokens are completely free and can be equipped the next time you return to Dark Woods.

Both Epic Games and Microsoft Stores have five different bundles for 33 Immortals that you can buy. Each of these bundles comes with a unique pet that you can access from Charon's Wardrobe after purchase. They also feature additional goodies, which you can check out on the Store page.

How to Equip Pets in 33 Immortals

Each player can equip one Familiar at a time. To bring one with you, you'll again have to talk to Charon and access his shop. Switch to the Familiar tab. Highlight the pet you want and press E (on PC) or A (on controller) to equip it.

Once equipped, your new companion will tag along with you wherever you go, whether you're hanging out in the Dark Woods or battling through the darkest corners of the Beyond.

While pets don't really add to your stats or weapon damage in 33 Immortals, they're still a great way to express yourself. There is a wide variety of Familiars for you to unlock. Each of them looks completely different and has unique rarities, making them the perfect companion for your journey through the treacherous landscape.
