Hell Is Us has a number of 'Good Deed' side missions that players can complete as they progress through the main storyline. The problem is, just like the rest of the game, there's not a whole lot of guidance on how to complete them, and some are time-sensitive, meaning if you leave it too long, you'll fail them. The Golden Watch Good Deed in Hell Is Us is one of the first you'll come across as you're exploring Senedra Forest, but if you've not paid attention, figuring out where to take the watch can be tricky.

Where to Find the Golden Watch in Hell Is Us
As you exit the ruins in Senedra Forest, you'll enter a series of trenches. Right at the beginning of these, you'll see a yellow/golden glint in an offshoot of the main path out of the trenches. Interact with this to find a note with a golden watch alongside it.
The note comes from a soldier explaining that during their storming of the forest, they found three Pal brothers cowering in a farmhouse, and they were taken out back and killed. One of the brothers was wearing the golden watch, which is found with the letter and was supposed to be sent back to the soldier's partner.
Where to Take the Golden Watch to Complete the Good Deed
To complete this Good Deed, you need to take the Golden Watch back to Ernest Caddell in the farmhouse that you explored before you entered the forest to head towards the ruins. He's found in the basement, next to a photo of one of his sons, which if you look closely at, can be seen wearing the golden watch.
The big clue here is the name inscribed in the strap of the watch, 'Otis Caddell.' That last name should sound familiar if you remember speaking with Ernest at the beginning of the game. However, with all the names and obscure moments in Hell Is Us, it can be easy to forget.
Press up on the d-pad to use the 'Trade' option and hand over the watch to Ernest. He'll thank you for returning the watch, and you'll have completed a good deed. To get a reward for completing the deed, you'll need to reach the Watcher's Nest and complete the Pentos' Tomb puzzle. After doing this, you can speak to Gildas Brom here and select the 'Have I helped enough Hadeans?' Option at the very top of the dialogue options. He'll then give you a reward for your hard work.
Before you leave Senedra Forest, if you haven't already, complete the 'Caddell Family Treasure' Mystery. It's a pretty fun treasure hunt and gives you a nice bit of defensive gear for completing it, too.
The Watcher's Nest is where you'll be able to get most of your rewards for completing Good Deeds in Hell Is Us, although some characters you help may also reward you with items as soon as you help them. Other Good Deeds will just reward you with a bonus cutscene or a minor change in how things unfold.
