Cyberpunk 2077 pays homage to some of the greatest bands and songs by naming gigs after them. Take, for instance, the “Every Breath You Take” gig, which is named after the popular song by The Police. The gig represents the song's themes involving a stalker, where you will need to help an NPC deal with a deadly stalker.

While the gig is pretty straightforward, you must meet a few requirements before unlocking it. This guide will cover everything you need to know about completing the “Every Breath You Take” gig in Cyberpunk 2077, along with other useful information.

Step-by-Step Guide to Every Breath You Take

Blue Moon Character Model

To unlock Every Breath You Take, you will need to complete the following gigs first:

  • Off the Leash
  • I Don’t Wanna Heart It

You will need to take a friendly approach while completing I Don’t Wanna Hear it, meaning you will need to ensure Kerry and the US Cracks reach an agreement.

Once the requirements are met, you will get a call from Blue Moon. Blue Moon is a member of the US Cracks, and she will ask for your help to deal with her stalker. Here is what you will need to do to complete the gig:

  1. Meet Blue Moon at the Kabuki roundabout. She will ask you to follow her from a distance to locate her stalker.
  2. Follow Blue Moon and identify the stalker, a woman with green and blue hair, a bunny backpack, and a green shirt.
  3. The stalker will approach Blue Moon for a picture, introducing herself as Green Cloud. Since the stalker used the initials GC while signing her letters, you know for certain this is Blue Moon’s stalker.

  4. You can choose to ask Green Cloud what she was doing at a gun shop. This will cause her to attack you, and you can either kill her or knock her unconscious. Alternatively, you can follow Blue Moon and Green Cloud from a distance until they arrive at a bridge, where Green Cloud will pull out a weapon. Once again, you can either kill her or knock her unconscious.

Maintain a safe distance while following Blue Moon to avoid failing the gig.

When you start the gig, Blue Moon will tell you not to kill the stalker since it will result in bad press for the US Cracks. However, killing Green Cloud will not necessarily fail the mission. If you incapacitate the stalker, you will get the evidence and wait for the police. On the other hand, if you kill the stalker, you will disappoint Blue Moon but not have to deal with any serious repercussions.

Regardless of your choice, you will get 570 XP and 4950 Eddies upon completing the gig.
