The rolling hills of Wishfield in Infinity Nikki are full of adorable creatures for you to find and gather materials from, thanks to your innovative and fashionable ability outfits. Furthermore, these abilities can help you fulfill objectives for quests, seasonal challenges, and more.
One such objective in Infinity Nikki's Blue Tears (1.7) season involves catching a special little critter called a Blue Glimmerdrop. Here's where you can find these season-exclusive creatures and how to catch them.
Infinity Nikki 1.7 Gifties Guide (Blue Tears Season)
The infamously elusive Gifties are back in Infinity Nikki's Blue Tears (1.7) season. Here's how and where to find them all.
Where to Find Blue Glimmerdrops in Infinity Nikki
The Drifting Toward Tomorrow challenge in Infinity Nikki's Blue Tears (1.7) season includes an objective (Day 3) that requires you to "Catch 2 Blue Glimmerdrops in Breezy Meadow". In contrast to normal Glimmerdrop bugs, which are regularly found in the game regardless of season, Blue Glimmerdrops are a season-exclusive creature that cannot be tracked via your map. Instead, you simply need to know where to find them.
While it's not confirmed if they spawn anywhere else in Breezy Meadow, Blue Glimmerdrop bugs are guaranteed to spawn at the lake by the Abandoned Fanatic Wisher Camp (seen above). This is the same place where you investigate the Wishing Tablet and Sith's Memory Realm within it as part of the season's storyline.
Bear in mind that, just like with regular Glimmerdrops, you need to wait until nighttime to find and catch Blue Glimmerdrops, as they're nocturnal. If it's daytime, remember that you can use your Run, Pear-Pal feature to quickly time-skip to night hours (22:00-4:00).
How to Catch Blue Glimmerdrops in Infinity Nikki
Once you've spotted some, to catch Blue Glimmerdrops, go to your ability outfit wheel and look for your Bug-Catching ability outfit. Select it to equip it and use your 'interact' button to swing your bug net and catch a Blue Glimmerdrop. Make sure to swipe two of them for the objective, which should then automatically be marked as complete in the challenge menu.
Remember that these bugs are only part of the game's Blue Tears (1.7) seasonal activities and will no longer be available once the season ends on July 30, 2025. So, make sure to fulfill all your event challenge objectives for Drifting Toward Tomorrow and any others you have in progress while you have the chance.
