Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 has managed to excel with its offerings compared to its predecessor. Warzone 2 now offers a backpack system that allows players to store more gadgets, kill streaks, armor plats, and weapons. The original Warzone limits players to a primary and a secondary weapon, but this new installment allows players to carry three weapons thanks to its backpack system.

How to Carry Three Weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0

Warzone 2 has three different types of backpacks:

  • Light backpack
  • Medium backpack
  • Large backpack

Players must loot or find a medium or large backpack to be able to carry three weapons. With the medium or large backpack equipped, players can stow items they find on the ground, including weapons. Players need to stow the third weapon in their backpack, albeit they will need to equip it when the need arises manually.

To stow weapons in the backpack, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure a primary and secondary weapon is equipped.
  2. Look for a third weapon to stow in the backpack.
  3. The player will get the option to Hold to Stow on the third weapon.
  4. Hold the interact button to stow the third weapon in the backpack.

Players are still limited to equipping only two items at a time.

When the player manually selects the third weapon, they must swap it with either their primary or secondary weapon.

Players must equip the weapon they wish to replace with the third weapon from the backpack.

Players will greatly benefit from being able to carry three weapons simultaneously, even if the third one is in the backpack. When faced with unsurmountable odds, players should stick to the tried and tested formula comprising the following three weapons:

  • Sniper Rifle – For long-range combat.
  • Assault Rifle – For medium-range combat.
  • SMG – For close-range combat.

Switching between three weapons might seem complicated, but with a little practice, players can seamlessly switch between them during firefights to easily turn the odds against their enemies.
