When playing Lethal Company, players come across all kinds of gross and scary creatures with varying danger levels. Snare Fleas are classified as ‘medium danger’ beasts. Sigurd has rated their danger level at only 30%, but these parasitic fleas are a major nuisance during expeditions. Snare Fleas do not produce venom or have strong bites, but they’re capable of suffocating the player to death by tightening their bodies around their prey.
Even though they’re not the worst enemy in Lethal Company, these creepy crawlies give a hard time to players who don’t know how to deal with them. This guide can help players beat and survive a Snare Flea attack in Lethal Company.
Lethal Company: How to Get and Use the Boombox
Here is everything Lethal Company players need to know about the Boombox, including how to get it and how they can utilize it.
How to Survive a Snare Flea in Lethal Company
Snare fleas thrive in dark, warm areas – like the vents in the ceiling. As soon as players enter a new building, the first thing they should do is check the vents. If vents are open, players can look for fleas using an Echo Scanner.
These creepy creatures are typically found hanging from ceilings, ready to latch onto the head of anyone who walks underneath them. Once the flea wraps itself around a player, it causes them to drop any items they have collected and slowly drains their health. Players can retrieve their items once they’ve freed themselves from the Snare Flea’s hold.
Unfortunately, players can’t free themselves from a Snare Flea by simply shaking their heads. When playing solo, a Snare Flea will automatically be dislodged from the player’s head when they reach Critical Health. If they’re lucky enough to locate their weapon, players can use it to hit the flea on their head and kill it.
In multiplayer games, if one coworker is unfortunate enough to get trapped by a Snare Flea, another player can use their shovel or stop sign to remove it. It takes 1 to 3 hits t o kill a Snare Flea. Alternatively, players can use a Zap Gun to knock the flea off a coworker’s head.
Additionally, if they’re close to an exit and can try to blindly reach it, players should leave the building, as this would cause the Snare Flea to instantly die. Those who have bought the Teleporter can use it to return to their ship – killing the flea instantly.
With a little practice, players can quickly free themselves from these deadly creatures and can return to collecting scrap for the Company.
