To get right to it, you're probably here because you're wondering if there are save points somewhere or a way to record your progress in Astro Bot's menu. Unfortunately, as of the time of writing, there's no way to manually save your game. However, that doesn't mean the game doesn't save your progress occasionally.
All 200 VIP Bots in Astro Bot (Every PlayStation Character Cameo)
Most of the Astro Bot cameo characters are pretty easy to identify, but there are a few VIP Bots who are obscure and thus can be difficult to place.
How Does Saving Work in Astro Bot?
In order to make sure your game is fully saved during your Astro Bo t adventures, you should hit the pause menu and return to the title screen. Some gamers are reporting that this is the only way to save your progress. Of course, you can also just leave your PS5 in rest mode and continue your game where you left off, but if you need to quit Astro Bot entirely, I would recommend going to the title screen first.
One of your editors, Tom Bowen, has been playing Astro Bot for guide coverage (pre-launch), and he had a nasty power cut happen the other day during a storm; when he turned his PS5 back on, he lost progress for two stages. So it seems that even if you complete a level, the game might not even auto-save (yikes).
