After finishing the main story of Monster Hunter Wilds, the credits will roll but the game is far from over. There are still a lot of endgame story missions to complete, along with a list of new monsters to fight and High Rank materials to obtain and craft into new weapons and armor.

Once you officially begin the endgame content, just about every region will be open for you to explore and tackle new challenges in, except for Ruins of Wyveria. You won't be able to fast travel here and otherwise, the region is locked off until you do a few other things first.

How To Return To Ruins Of Wyveria (High Rank) In Monster Hunter Wilds

One of the first changes from the base game to the endgame content is that your Hunter Rank is now fully unlocked, and completing side quests, main quests, and hunts will all give you XP to level it up. The first task in getting back to the Ruins of Wyveria is getting your Hunter Rank to 20. Luckily so much new content is available that getting to Hunter Rank 20 is fairly easy and only takes a few hours of gameplay depending on how you choose to earn XP.

You can return to Low Rank Wyveria by accepting optional quests whenever.

As you level up your Hunter Rank, you'll also periodically unlock new main story missions that you'll need to also complete. These are also a great use in time as they also give a lot of Hunter Rank XP. Ultimately, your goal is to unlock and complete the main story mission 4-3 Wyvern Sparks & Rose Thrones. Beginning this quest will let you into High Rank Wyveria for a hunt, and once it's finished you'll be free to explore the High Rank region however you'd like.

How To Quickly Level Up Your Hunter Rank To 20 In Monster Hunter Wilds

While just about any activity will give you some Hunter Rank Points, your best bet is to complete side quests. Some can be incredibly simple such as catching a Vigorwasp, while others will have you take down a monster, getting additional materials to help you also get better gear before heading to Wyveria. NPCs with side quests available have a yellow X over their head, and once accepted they can be completed whenever you want. Also, be sure to complete the new story missions as soon as they become available since they have the best return on Hunter Rank Points.
