Divine Beast Dancing Lion is one of the first bosses in the Elden Ring DLC that players come across in Belurat Tower Settlement. However, another version of the boss can be found in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. This Dancing Lion is different in the sense that it can cause Death Blight ailment to the player and can summon Basilisks, making the fights much harder.
This guide includes a step-by-step walkthrough from one of the Sites of Grace in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh to the location of
Divine Beast Dancing Lion in Shadow of the Erdtree.
Elden Ring: Bloodfiend's Arm Build Guide
Melt away your enemies with this high damage-dealing Bloodfiend's Arm build for Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
How To Reach Ancient Ruins Of Rauh
There are multiple ways to reach the Ancient Ruins of Rauh; however, you will need to reach the upper section and to do this, you must head west of the Storehouse First Floor Site of Grace. You will come across a lift that takes you to a room filled with limb blobs waiting to ambush you, hiding inside jars. Follow the path until you reach the West Rampart Site of Grace, after which you will have to cross a seemingly long Bridge with a Fire Knight Sage known as Salza at the end. Defeating him grants you the
Salza's Hood and
Rain of Fire Incantation.
Proceed to reach the Viaduct Minor Tower, the first Site of Grace in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. You will then have to go through the underground ruins and reach the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Site of Grace.
To acquire the Map Fragment of this location, you must go through the lower section of this area, which is accessible through a cave located northeast of Moorth Ruins.
How To Get Messmer Soldier's Axe And Shield In Shadow Of The Erdtree
Messmer Soldier's Axe and the Shield are both farmable weapons in Elden Ring's Shadows of the Erdtree DLC.
How To Get To Divine Beast Dancing Lion
From the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Site of Grace, summon your Torrent and head southwest up the staircase. Be mindful of the Shadow enemies that are constantly casting a spell. Going up the stairs will lead to a room filled with Shadow enemies, and you must head through the doorway on the left. Follow the path to the end and take the elevator.
Once the lift stops, head left, and there will be a stone platform you can jump down to and make your way to the other side. Here, you will come across another elevator that takes you up. You can head through the small passageway on the right of the elevator to acquire the Talisman of All Crucibles. Once you reach the top, you can head east to interact with the Ancient Ruins, Grand Stairway Site of Grace. From this Grace, the path is pretty much straightforward. Just head northeast, going past the
Giant Golem Archer.
If you plan on summoning online players to help you for the boss fight, be sure to take out the Golem Archer before, as it will constantly shoot arrows at you while you are at the summoning pool.
Tips On Defeating The Boss
You must drop down to the lower level and then head to the open building where the Divine Beast Dancing Lion is roaming around. This version of the Dancing Lion can cause Death Blight, so to avoid this, you should equip the
Prince of Death's Cyst Talisman. When the boss loses half of its health bar, it will summon Basiliks, who you can deal with with a single Weapon Skill of the
Sacred Relic Sword.
