If you are good at puzzle games, or have played games like Outer Wilds or Return of the Obra Dinn, it might not take you very long to roll credits. But if you want to solve every puzzle, uncover every mystery, and earn every achievement, Blue Prince will take significantly longer to complete.

The time it takes to roll credits in Blue Prince will vary greatly from person to person. Depending on how much of the Mt. Holly Estate you choose to explore, and how many puzzles you interact with throughout your runs, the time it takes to beat Blue Prince is around 15 to 40 hours, but the credits aren't necessarily the end of the game.

It can take as few as 20 Days (at the very least) to get to Room 46, but that's assuming you quickly pick up on the game's interconnected mysteries and puzzles and are able to efficiently make your way through the manor in the early game.

Some players with early access to the game were able to beat it in under 25 runs, while others have completed more than 150 Days and still have not seen the credits.

In your first playthrough, expect to take around 50 Days to roll credits in Blue Prince. But if you can't figure out the requirements to get to Room 46, or have a hard time solving some of the game's most esoteric puzzles, it can take many, many more Days to complete Blue Prince.

You may have noticed that this 15-40 hour, around 50-run estimate is based on the time it takes to roll credits – that's because getting to the credits doesn't necessarily mean the game is over. There is still plenty to do once you have "completed" Blue Prince. If you want to see everything in the game, put together all the pieces for yourself, and get every achievement to 100% Blue Prince, it will likely take you upwards of 60 hours.

There are only 16 achievements in Blue Prince, but every Achievement is tied to a difficult or lengthy requirement. These achievements will all take you a long time to complete, but few are required to beat the game. For example, one Blue Prince trophy requires players to complete the Mt. Holly Directory, one requires players to buy out the entire Showroom, while another can only be unlocked if you complete the final Classroom exam.

Additionally, there are still puzzles to finish, lore tidbits to discover, and grander mysteries to uncover even after you reach Room 46. The game goes a lot deeper than one might first think.

Like the time it takes to beat the game and see the credits, this estimate depends entirely on how fast you can solve all of the manor's mysteries (and a bit of RNG). Some players might take more than 100 hours to 100% the game, while others might get it all done in less than 100 runs.
