2024 hasn't exactly been the best year when it comes to PlayStation exclusives, but that's not to say that there haven't still been some great games released throughout the course of the year. Astro Bot is about as good as they come, providing its players with one of the best platforming experiences available on the PlayStation 5.
All 200 VIP Bots in Astro Bot (Every PlayStation Character Cameo)
Most of the Astro Bot cameo characters are pretty easy to identify, but there are a few VIP Bots who are obscure and thus can be difficult to place.
However, given the relatively short length of both its PS5 pack-in predecessor Astro's Playroom and Astro Bot Rescue Mission for the PSVR, some potential purchasers may be hesitant to drop sixty dollars on the game at launch. Hopefully, understanding how long it takes to beat Astro Bot will help to put their minds at ease.
How Long Does it Take to Beat Astro Bot?
Completing the main story of Astro Bot will take most players around ten hours, although that's assuming that they don't engage with any of the game's secret stages or the Lost Galaxy planets. Those who rush through things could probably shave an hour or two off of that time if they really wanted to, but this kind of approach definitely isn't recommended, as this is an experience that deserves to be savored until the very last bite.
On that note, fully completing every stage and unlocking all of the Trophies in Astro Bot should take players between 15 and 18 hours, although this could vary quite a bit depending on the player's skill level. Some of the secret stages in Astro Bot are a lot more challenging than the standard planets and so will likely require multiple attempts to complete.

Is Astro Bot Worth Playing?
Short answer, yes. Astro Bot is definitely worth playing. Team Asobi's latest title is one of the best games on the PlayStation 5 and a must-play for fans of fun and creativity. It's the kind of game that will have players smiling from ear to ear right up until the credits finish rolling, and although some of the post-game content in Astro Bot can be quite challenging, the developers provide players with everything they need to overcome all of the obstacles in front of them.
