Virizion is a legendary Grass/Fighting Pokemon from the Sword of Justice Trio. This Legendary debuted in the Pokemon franchise with the release of Generation 5 and is now obtainable in The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: All Teachers, Ranked By Usefulness
All teachers in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet give special rewards for working on their lessons and mini-quests, and some are more useful than others
To find Virizion, the storyline for the second expansion must be completed first to unlock the ability to get Legendary treats from Snacksworth. To find Snacksworth, you must wait until after rolling the credits and then rush over to the entrance of the Blueberry Academy --he will be dressed in a black suit, standing to the right of the turnstiles.
Virizion is available through solo quests for Pokemon Violet players and in Scarlet upon completing group quests. (There is a pool of legendaries for which treats can be obtained, so getting the Virizion treat may take a few tries.)
Virizion Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Upon receiving the Virizion Treat, the Grasslands Pokemon will await your arrival in the Paldea region. Virizion will be waiting at the bottom of a cliff at the back of the Tagtree Thicket.
The easiest way to get to Virizion is to fly to East Province (Area Three); after doing so, it won't be too far with the help of Miraidon or Koraidon. Once traveling through the thicket and making it to the base of the cliff past the lake, all that will be left is to challenge Virizion.
Be sure to stock up on Poke Balls and save before challenging Virizion. If Virizion is knocked out before saving, it will still reappear after some time.
Virizion Moveset and Resistances/Weaknesses
Being a dual Grass/Fighting type Pokemon, it is best to avoid hitting Virizion with any Flying type move as they will deal four times the damage and could potentially knock out the Legendary. The damage taken from Poison, Ice Psychic, and Fairy will be double the damage. The best method, however, would be to use a Pokemon that can give the status condition of paralysis or sleep and use False Swipe to get it down to 1 HP. Dealing damage to Virizion with Ground, Rock, Water, Grass, Dark, or Electric moves will deal half the normal damage.
