Remembrances in Elden Ring Nightreign are the Nightfarer's questlines that players can progress while doing their Expeditions. All Remembrances are unique and have multiple chapters that require you to visit Limveld to retrieve an item or defeat the boss using the Nightfarer whose Remembrance is active.

Despite being completely optional, these questlines offer rewards like Relics, which are some of the best ones for the Nightfarers to have. You also get Relic Rites and a free Remembrance skin at the end of the questline. How to Get the Slate Whetstone In Elden Ring Nightreign

The clash with Night has spanned eons. And yet now, precious little time remains.

After running multiple Expeditions on Wylder, you will get some Memory Fragments, which will allow you to access the third chapter of his Remembrance. Make your way to the Iron Menial, who is waiting right outside the Waiting Room in the Roundtable Hold. Talk to him, and he will ask you to retrieve a Whetstone for him, which can be found in Limveld. Go to the Expeditions table and commence any Expedition you want, whether you want to play Solo or in Multiplayer mode.

Once the Expedition loads and you drop in Limveld, open your map to check out all the icons, and you can spot a Tunnel that has been marked with a red banner. Make your way over there and enter the Tunnel through any of the two entrances. Inside the cave, you can show the inner layout of the Tunnel and follow the path to the marker, where you will find a glowing wall. Before you can interact with it, though, a Crystalian will spawn, and you will have to deal with it. Once the boss has been defeated, approach the glowing wall and search for the Whetstone.

With the Whetstone now in your possession, proceed through the Expedition as you normally would, and after you are successful or fail, you can head back to the Iron Menial. He will offer you three items:

  • Mended Earring
  • Delicate Burning Scene x2

It is important to note that if you have not completed the first Expedition and unlocked Duchess, you will not be able to get the Earring and must complete that task first. Take the Earring to the back of the Waiting Room and hold it up to make Wylder perform a gesture.

Make your way to the Expedition table and talk to the Duchess, and give her the Mended Earring. This will allow you to complete Chapter 3 of Wylder's Remembrance and acquire the Slate Whetstone Relic, which has the following effects:

  • [Wylder] Follow-up attacks possible when using Character Skill (greatsword only)
  • Physical Attack Up
