Chapter 2 of Life is Strange: Double Exposure ends with Moses calling you in a panic. Detective Alderman has taken on the case of Safi's death, and Moses has her camera in his possession. Given that this was a murder, and Max and Moses were present when she died, having and hiding her camera does not look good for him.

As such, he needs Max's help to get him out of the situation. And, thanks to her newfound dimension-hopping powers, Max can help him get out of this very sticky situation. It's one of the longer puzzles to complete so far in the game, though, with lots of steps that can be difficult to complete if you aren't sure where to look.

How to Find Safi's Camera

To find Safi's camera at the end of Chapter 2, you need to transition to the Living World at a point just behind Moses' office. Once you've done so, you'll be able to walk into his office normally, and you'll find him working on building a telescope inside. Speak with him, and you'll find a couple of clues as to where you can find Safi's camera. If you want to get right down to where he could be keeping it in the Dead World, ask him if he keeps any contraband anywhere.

He'll admit that he has an electric kettle that he keeps hidden from maintenance. Before he can show you, though, the telescope almost falls on him, which causes Max to ask if she can help. Of course, she does, and Moses needs her to find an Allen Wrench for him before he can show her where he's keeping the kettle.

Where to Find the Allen Wrench

There are two points in Moses' office where you can switch between dimensions. One is right behind where he's working on the telescope, near the counters at the back of the room, and the other is upstairs. Use either one to transition to the Dead World so you can find the Allen Wrench.

A short cutscene will play, and once you're in control of Max again, you'll find yourself in front of the door again. Walk toward a counter in the middle of the office, and you'll find the Allen Wrench lying on it. Grab it, then transition back to the Living World and give it to Moses.

Now that he's got it, he can fix his telescope, and he'll show you where he keeps his kettle. It's in a small cabinet next to his desk, and you need the key to unlock it. Thankfully, he leaves the key on the counter, so all you need to do is grab it and transition back to the Dead World. Once you're there, open the cabinet to find a note indicating where he hid the camera - which seems to be under some kind of safe.

How to Find the Saiph

Before you can look for the "safe", you need to return to Moses in the Living World and ask him about the safe. He'll comment that he doesn't have a safe in the room, but that he thought Max may have been asking about the Saiph Star. Max then realizes that she needs to look for the star in order to find Safi's camera.

To find the Saiph Star, you need to transition back to the Dead World and go upstairs. Find the Star Projector, which should be on the counter near the railing, and switch it on. Align the stars with the mural on the wall (Max will stop looking through the projector once you've got it right) and go back downstairs.

You now need to find the Star while the constellation is in the right place. You can locate it at the end of Orion, on the bottom left side of the wall. Once Max has seen it, she'll spot the camera hiding behind a grate in the wall - but she can't get it until you hide from Detective Alderman.

How to Hide From Detective Alderman

As Max finds the camera, Detective Alderman will enter the room (while she's inside!). The first thing you need to do is transition back to the Living World, and thankfully, there's a point where you can do that right near the grate in the wall. Once you've done so, Max will remark that she needs to distract Alderman with something so she can grab the camera and get out.

The object that will help you with this is the irritating little jingle doll on the Christmas tree, which you can grab while you're in the Living World. Get it from the tree, then go upstairs and transition back to the Dead World using the transition point here. Max will place the jingle doll here, and Alderman will get distracted and decide to investigate. Before he can get upstairs, quickly transition back to the Living World.

You can press the pulse button (E on PC) to keep track of where he is while you're in a different dimension. Once you've entered the Living World, go back downstairs to where the camera is and transition to the Dead World again. Max will need to push the delivery boxes out of the way to reach it, but thankfully, she'll discover a new power that can help her get them out of the way quickly.

Once you have the camera, transition to the Living World one last time and leave the office. Go back to the transition point you used outside to get into the office, get back to the Dead World, and return to Moses. You have successfully stolen Safi's camera, and probably saved Moses from going to jail in Life is Strange: Double Exposure.
