Where to Find Ominous Bottles in Minecraft

Ominous Bottles can range from levels 1 to 5. And you can get it in the following ways:

100% drop from Pillager Raid Captains. Unlike in previous versions of the game, killing this mob in version 1.21 will no longer automatically apply the Bad Omen effect to you. Instead, you will receive one Ominous Bottle of a random level.
Can be found within the Trial Chambers. Using Trial Key on Vaults located in different places of the testing facility, you can get Ominous Bottles of levels 1-2 with an 18.6% chance. Or you can use Ominous Trial Key on Ominous Vaults and find Ominous Bottles of levels 3-5 with a 13.4% chance.

How to Use Ominous Bottles in Minecraft

While drinking Ominous Bottles seems like a bad idea, that's only partly true. By drinking this bottle, you will receive a Bad Omen effect, the level of which corresponds to the level of the bottle. Depending on where you go next, this effect can have two different consequences:

If you go to the village, the Bad Omen effect will replaced by the Raid Omen effect. The effect level affects the number of waves of enemies and the strength of mobs, so you should be well-prepared before drinking a bottle. But remember that a regular milk bucket can remove this effect from you.
Alternatively, you can go to Trial Chambers to replace your Bad Omen effect with the Trial Omen effect. In this case, the normal trial will turn into Ominous Trial Chambers, and the effect level determines the duration of the complicated version of the trial. Each level is 15 minutes, so level 1 Ominous Bottles will activate Ominous Trial Chambers for 15 minutes, and level 5 will activate Ominous Trial Chambers for 75 minutes. During this battle, spawners will spawn more mobs and shoot projectiles more often, and the strength of the enemies will be much higher. On the other hand, you can get the Ominous Trial Key, and all the rewards will be much better.
