Traversal in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is quite different from the base game. The Land of Shadow is far more complex, and reaching new areas can be challenging if you don’t know where to go. One wrong turn, and you can find yourself stuck. Midra's Manse is one such location.
Reaching Midra’s Manse isn’t particularly difficult since you won’t be traversing dark dungeons or mazes. However, it is a bit intimidating due to the nature of the area you will have to navigate.

How To Get To Midra’s Manse
To reach Midra’s Manse, you must first navigate to the Abyssal Woods via the Darklight Catacombs. After defeating Jori, the Elder Inquisitor boss, proceed through the newly opened doorway and interact with the Forsaken Graveyard Site of Grace ahead. This marks the first step in your journey to Midra’s Manse.
Note that you won't be able to use Torrent in this region, so every step must be taken on foot.
From there, continue south until you see a massive tree below with a Site of Grace at its base. Descend the hill to reach it. You have now arrived at the Woodland Trails Site of Grace. From there, head west, avoiding or defeating any rats along the way.
Eventually, you will find the Abyssal Woods Site of Grace. Continue westward, being cautious of the dangerous monster with the orange head. You can use the tall grass to crouch and slip past them. Be careful to avoid the bells in the grass. After a few minutes of traversal, you will come across the Divided Falls Site of Grace, located on the right side of the lake and waterfall.

After that, head southeast and pass through the underpass, where you will encounter some enemies. Once through the underpass, take a right turn and continue southwest. Shortly after, ascend the hill on your left. Proceed straight ahead and drop down to the bottom. Keep moving south, avoiding enemies along the way, until you see a line of corpses, indicating that you are on the right path.
Continue south and open the door in front of you. Ascend the stairs to enter Midra’s Manse. Don’t forget to interact with the Manse Hall Site of Grace in front of you.
