Man-Fly Ashes – Summon Cost & Tips

The Man-Fly Ashes is a new Spirit Ash in Shadow of the Erdtree that summons three Man-Flies that follow you around and attack the boss simultaneously. These Spirit Ashes are pretty weak, given their low health pool, and can get easily staggered when hit by heavy attacks. Summoning three of these Man-Flies gives the bosses multiple targets at once, making dishing out a lot of damage easier. You can cast buffs and heals on these summoned allies, but it is best to use stronger summons when facing challenging foes, as these Spirit Ashes will not last long in those fights.
The Man-Fly Ashes can be upgraded to +10 with Grave Glovewort. In the Shadow of the Erdtree, these Ashes' offensive and defensive capabilities can be increased using Revered Spirit Ashes. Elden Ring players must have 29 FP available to summon the Spirit Ashes.

Where To Find Man-Fly Ashes Location
To get Man-Fly Ashes in Shadow of the Erdtree, you must reach Village of Flies. From the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace inside Shadow Keep, head back down the elevator and go past the Red Knight to go left. There should be a ladder that you can climb down and reach a narrow passageway and a waterfall that you can go through. Climb down another ladder, and you will come to a room with a painting. Roll on the right wall to reveal a hidden passage that leads to a coffin you can interact with. Interacting with the coffin will take you to Recluses' River in Scadu Altus.
Summon your Torrent and start riding southeast, going past the Furnace Golem. There should be a Site of Grace on the left side of the Waterfall that you can interact with and proceed forward. Keep hugging the left wall, and be careful of multiple gaps throughout this area that you will have to jump across. Soon, you will come across a few Man-Flies, and this is where you can jump across to the right side. Keep hugging the right wall now, and you can jump down to interact with the Upstream Site of Grace.
Keep following this path until you reach an area with multiple enemies and a path on the right. Take this path to enter the Village of Flies and keep going up. There should be an item near some pots surrounded by enemies. Deal with them and interact with the item to get the Man-Fly Ashes.
