Where To Get Lamenting Visage Torch In Elden Ring
To acquire Lamenting Visage Torch, players will first need to fast-travel to Charo’s Hidden Grave Site of Grace, which is located near the southwest corner of the Land of Shadows. From there, head northwest while avoiding enemies along the way. After a brief journey on your Torrent, you'll come across a large cave with an open gate. This is Lamenter’s Goal Cave. Follow the steps below, and you will acquire the torch in no time.
Obtaining the Gaol Upper Level Key
Head inside the cave and interact with the Site of Grace to set your respawn point in case of death. Proceed forward until you encounter a closed door. To progress, enter through the opening on the left and continue straight. Head inside the second room to your right and open the chest to obtain the Gaol Upper Level Key. Quickly return to the closed gate, unlock it with the key, and descend the ladder.

Obtaining the Gaol Lower Level Key
After you are on the lower floor, proceed north while avoiding large pots, which are actually hostile enemies. Turn right and ascend the large staircase to reach the upper floor. Proceed straight through the door and advance until the floor collapses beneath you, dropping you to a lower area.
Upon landing, head north and ascend the staircase to your right. Ascend two sets of stairs and enter the room on your right. Follow the straightforward path, jumping across any gaps. Upon reaching a vast room cluttered with garbage and big pots, turn west and open the chest to acquire the Gaol Lower Level Key. Be swift, as the pots will attack you upon sight.
Acquiring the Lamenting Visage
After securing the key, backtrack to the previous door by jumping on the garbage until you reach it. Return to the staircases, but this time descend only one set. Enter the room ahead of you and strike the southwest wall — it's an illusionary barrier that will vanish upon impact.
Continue onward and unlock the door with the key. Finally, loot the corpse near the barrels to your right, and you will acquire the Lamenting Visage Torch.

The Lamenting Visage torch scales primarily with Strength and deals physical damage in melee combat. It features the unique skill Blindfold of Happiness, which obscures the player from enemies, ideal for peaceful exploration. This skill cannot be charged for additional effects or replaced with a chosen Ash of War. However, the torch can be upgraded to +10 using Somber Smithing Stones.
When the player's Strength level reaches 80 or above, the torch boasts an Attack Rating of 444 AR when wielded one-handed and 478 AR when used two-handed.
