As is the case with many online games, Battlefield 6 has a progression path to keep players grinding through levels and earning rewards. It also comes with a more costly, 'Phantom Edition,' that offers in-game goodies for some extra cash up front. A Battlefield Pro Token is included in the Phantom Edition, but some players are unclear about what it does and how they can use it. This guide explains everything you need to know about the Pro Token in Battlefield 6.
How to Get Free Battlefield 6 Skins and Rewards Early by Playing Battlefield 2042
Here is how players can earn all the exclusive rewards for Battlefield 6 while playing Battlefield 2042.
What Is the Pro Token in Battlefield 6?
All About Cosmetic Unlocks!
The Pro Token grants players the ability to purchase the Battlefield 6 Battle Pass. As is the case with most games, progressing through the Battle Pass will unlock new items that can be equipped to your character and weapons. These will, most likely, be cosmetic items and progression boosters.
The Battlefield Pro Token will also unlock the first 25 tiers immediately, meaning you'll have a huge head start (and a ton of content to start messing around with).
It's worth noting that the Pro Token can't be used as soon as you load up Battlefield 6. You'll need to wait for Season 1 to start on October 28 before the Battle Pass will be purchasable and your token can be redeemed.
How to Get Pro Token in Battlefield 6
The Battlefield Pro Token can only be obtained by purchasing the Phantom Edition of Battlefield 6. This is the 'premium' edition of the game, which also includes a number of other items. The full contents of the edition is as follows:
- Battlefield Pro Token (Battle Pass + 25 Tier Skips & More)
-
The Phantom Pack, featuring:
- Phantom Squad: 4 Soldier Skins
- “Glimmer” Melee Knife Weapon Skin
- “Shrouded” M433 Weapon Package
- “Drop Shadow” MS2010 ESR Weapon Package
- “Chimera” M1A2 SEPv3 Vehicle Skin
- “Death’s Head” Weapon Sticker
- “Cryptic” Weapon Charm
- “Operative” Dog Tag
- Phantom XP Boost Set
Players can also get a 'Tombstone Pack' of cosmetics if they preorder either the standard or Phantom edition of the game.
If you have purchased a digital version of the Phantom edition, all of your bonus content should be downloaded alongside the full game by default. For those purchasing a physical copy, you may need to redeem a code on your platform's digital storefront.
It's worth noting that, at the time of writing, it remains unclear if there are going to be Pro Tokens for future seasons in Battlefield 6. If there is, this will likely be a microtransaction and require you to part with your hard-earned cash to get. Once we have confirmed information, we'll update this post and let you know.
Whether or not the Pro Token, and the Phantom Edition in general, is worth getting depends on how much you think you'll play Battlefield 6 and are bothered about unlocking lots of cosmetics. If you're not someone who's typically too bothered about cosmetic items, you can probably give it a miss.
