Here is everything that players should know about how to navigate through the Rotted Woods and where exactly the blessing or power is located in Elden Ring Nightreign.

How to Find the Secret of the Rotted Woods In Elden Ring Nightreign

As you make your way to the bottom half of the map, you will come across the Rotted Woods, which are home to Kindred of Rots, Giant Ants, and more. It is recommended that you visit this part of the map on the second day, because the area is filled with 4–6 Greater Formidable Foes that will be easier to take on during the second day and will also be marked on the map. Upon opening the map, you will spot a red flag marked on a fort south of the Rotted Woods. Reaching the fort will be the first task to acquire the power hidden here.

Unlike some of the other Shifting Earth Events, you can easily walk into the forest and make your way to the fort without having to climb a large mountain or go down a crater. However, if you are near the northeast side of the map at the start of Day 2, you can head over to the Spectral Hawk Tree, which should take you to the rotted areas, where you can descend down into the forest.

Inside the woods, your main task is finding the main road, which leads up to the fort. If you can find this, then making your way up the road should be easy enough. However, if you entered the area from the side, then you might have to go through a bunch of enemies and bosses while trying to climb the rough terrain in order to reach the fort. If this wasn't troublesome enough, the whole area is infested with Scarlet Rot, meaning that as you make your way to the fort, you are bound to get inflicted with it. However, there is no need to worry, as throughout the forest, you will find red flowerbeds that you can interact with and cure your Rot right away. This will allow you to freely continue your exploration and continue your way to the fort.

Once you reach the fort, the Scarlet Rot buildup will stop, and you can also find a merchant and a Smithing table in case you want to buy some items or upgrade your weapons.

Head inside the fort and make your way up the stairs to the Lordsworn Captain. Deal with him, as he drops a Dormant Power, and look to the right of the stairs to find a room with a map on a table that you can interact with, revealing the location of the Power.

Where to Go After Acquiring the Map?

Open your map, ping the location of the red flag, and make your way over there. Upon reaching the marked location, you will come across a giant tree that you can climb to reach a section where the glowing power can be picked up. The Favor of the Rotted Woods increases your max health and stops the Scarlet Rot buildup. You can also partially recover HP after taking damage.

With the power acquired, you are free to do anything — a good place to start would be to target the Scarabs holding the Talismans, as well as the Formidable Foes that will give you a lot of Runes and valuable weapons or buffs.
