How to Find Legendary Kelp in Coral Island

Having the right resources in Coral Island is important for crafting new items, upgrading tools, and building structures. However, resources aren’t handed to players on a silver platter. The players have to spend most of their time finding resources in Starlet Town. One of the most important resources in Coral Island is the Legendary Kelp, also known as the Osmium Kelp Essence.

The Legendary Kelp is a crafting material players receive as a reward upon completing the Rare Resources list. In fact, the players get three Osmium Kelp Essence. Some players, beginners, in particular, can confuse Legendary Kelp with Silver Kelp at times. This guide aims to differentiate Legendary Kelp from Silver Kelp and assist players in locating Legendary Kelp specifically in Coral Island.

The Guide to Finding a Legendary Kelp

Coral Island gives players a barren area that they have to flourish in. This is why they need the resources to build structures, plant crops, and craft various useful items to survive and earn money. The Legendary Kelp plays a vital role in crafting various items, particularly in the Laboratory for enhancing animal products and crops.

The problem is that it isn't available for purchase in any shops in Starlet Town, which means players have to find it naturally. Here are the three ways to get hands on the Legendary Kelp in Coral Island.

Complete the Rare Resources

The first option is to complete the Rare Resources list, and players get five Legendary Kelps as a reward. It’s offered on the 4th altar of Lake Temple. Players can reach the 4th altar after completing the first offering. The Lake Temple is located in the Lake’s northeast corner.

Process the Osmium Kelp

To acquire the Osmium Kelp Essence, also known as Legendary Kelp, players must process Osmium Kelp using an extractor. To do so, they'll require ten Osmium Kelp and one Glass. These items are processed within the extractor for 36 hours.

From the Temple Altar

Another way to obtain Osmium Kelp Essence is through the Temple Altar, where they're provided in bottle form in exchange for Rare Resources. Players can multiply these bottles using the slime of replication. The greater the quantity of essence, the more items they can craft.
