Buildcrafting in Diablo 4 has always been about fitting the right pieces into the right places, and in Season 10, players have access to Chaos Armor. These are slightly stronger versions of the many different Unique items in the game, but they come with one important twist.
Chaos Armor pieces are basically Unique items that can be equipped in different slots. For example, the Chaos version of a Unique chestpiece can instead be worn on a character's Boots slot. This small but significant change opens up tons of new ways to build characters in Diablo 4 (at least for Season 10), and if you want to get your hands on some, here's a guide to help you out.
Best Infernal Warp Farm in Diablo 4 Season 10
Here's a trick you can try to get thousands of Infernal Warp as quickly as possible in Diablo 4 Season 10.
Where Does Chaos Armor Drop in Diablo 4?
The good thing about Chaos Armor is that they can drop from any source of loot that can drop normal Unique items. Instead of getting an ordinary Unique, you have a small chance of getting a Chaos version of whatever that item is, and yes, you need to be in Torment 1 or higher for these to appear.
This means that all the usual Unique item farming spots in Diablo 4 are also good for getting Chaos Armor. Lair bosses like Andariel and Duriel are still going to be the best sources of Unique loot, but if you're all out of boss hoard materials, consider the following alternatives:
- Greater Caches of Chaos (from the Tree of Whispers)
- Infernal Hordes
Greater Caches from the seasonal rewards bounty board may also drop Chaos Armor.
All Chaos Armor in Diablo 4 Season 10
Unfortunately, not all Unique items have a Chaos Armor variant, but don't let that dissuade you — Chaos Armor pieces have ~20% higher stats than their regular counterparts, and the slot change alone is enough to warrant using them in many cases. Here are all the Chaos Armor pieces available in Season 10:

For clarity's sake, Chaos Armor can drop with the effects of the Unique weapons, rings, and amulets on this list. Also, Chaos Armor cannot spawn as the same item that it is a Chaos version of (no Chaos Crown of Lucion for your helmet slot, for example).
